Doune Castle51 viewsThis image appeared as the opening page of the old Dun Ard web site. I was used by permission of Hieko Heck.

This castle is located just north of Stirling in Scotland. Its greatest claim to fame, in recent times, is as the castle that was used repeatedly throughout the Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie. It was used for both interior and exterior shots.
